By day, I’m a software engineer at a manufacturing company, doing the plumbing and translation that turns what people create in their browser into physical objects. Before working in manufacturing, I built a search engine for the same company.
In general, I would call myself a literate programmer and documentarian.

My educationalÂ background is pharmacy and economics. As a documentarian, I learn by teaching… usually the student isÂ myself. Many of the posts that you’ll find here areÂ distillations and demonstrations of things that IÂ learned–often by cobbling together many sources on the Internet.
It’s fair to say that many of these posts are notes to my future self. If other people find them interesting or useful, that’s a nice side benefit.
